The Rostropovich Legacy Guild

An Invitation to Join the Rostropovich Legacy Guild

Patrons who express their support specifically for the future of the National Symphony Orchestra in their estate plans by including bequests, charitable gift annuities or other deferred gifts specifically for the NSO and its music education programs are invited to join the Rostropovich Legacy Guild.

This legacy society shares the same benefits as the Roger L. Stevens Society; yet is named in memory of one of the greatest cellist of all times, Kennedy Center Honoree, and the beloved former Music Director of the National Symphony Orchestra, Maestro Mstislav Rostropovich.

Please let us know if you have included the National Symphony Orchestra in your estate plans so that we may thank you during your lifetime for your outstanding support and commitment to the programs and performances which bring the arts into the lives of millions of people both in Washington, D.C. and around the country each year.

It is through the great support of our patrons that we can provide the best in performing arts and provide the highest quality of arts education to students, families and teachers around the world for years to come.

Once you complete your estate plans, please fill out our member profile form to let us know. We would like to thank you for your generosity by including you in the Rostropovich Legacy Guild.

Benefits of the Rostropovich Legacy Guild:

  • The most important benefit is the satisfaction of knowing you are helping bring the highest level of performing arts to the Kennedy Center as well as top level education programs to young people in the Washington DC area and nationwide. Your membership involves no dues or obligations, but it does allow us to thank you and recognize you for the plans you have made, and it may inspire generosity in others.
  • Your name will be listed on the membership roster in Playbill unless you choose to remain anonymous. There are other extended special membership benefits including invitations to special events and seminars. For more information, please contact Jenny Questell at (202) 416-8041 or gaquestell@kennedy-center.org.
